THE WORDSWORTH PROJECT

William Wordworth was born on April 7th, 1770. Therefore April 2020 marks the 250th anniversary of Wordsworth's birth. All celebrations of this event have been cancelled to to the corona pandemic.

The Wordsworth Family were all due to meet in April and therefore decided instead to share, within the family, recordings of the various generations reading their favourite poems. A 'Wordsworths read Wordsworth' concept.

Whilst this remains at the heart of this project we have since invited other lovers of Wordsworth, his poetry and his core environmental messages, to send in their own readings and interpretations.

This website will remain a permanent and living archive for anyone wanting to explore Wordworth' s poetry or submit their own personal reading.
